Boom. Cowboy fan for life.

But as college drew near, I had to make a decision. OSU, OWU, TU, OU…some out of state college. I knew for the most part I would stay in Oklahoma. The only out of state colleges I even liked where in England–and I don’t think that I was going to get into Cambridge or Oxford. As the college catuolges were neatly collected in a pile, I knew my choices had come down to OSU in Stillwater or OWU in Bartlesville. Each had drawbacks. Each gave me a reason for going. I was confused.

In the end, I picked OWU. It was close to my family. It was close to Jordan. I had almost a full ride. It was small. No, I’m not getting the normal college experience. But I’m getting the kind of college experience I want. I don’t want to party. I don’t want to drink. I’m happy laying out my the pond, or staying up to one o’clock on my balcony because curfew is at 12:30. I’m happy here.

And that has made all the difference.

I live an wonderfully blessed life. God gave me great things. Family, friends, love. I love my life. However, I realized I don’t say thank you to the ones I should as often as I need to. There are wonderful people in my life and without them I’d be lost.

So here is my list of thank yous. here’s my list of the ones I love.

• my mom- so amazing. she raised me and my brother on her own. she’s my hero. not to mention that she has put up with me more then anyone else. ever….poor thing!
• jordan- this is the love of my life. after being together for almost four years i fall more madly in love with everyday. he’s a good person with a wonderful heart for people. he makes me smile.
• my grandmothers- such strong woman. they’re truly inspirational.
• my grandpa- thank you for being there, no matter what.
• my family- you’re huge and loud. but i won’t have it any other way.
• my friends- oh my goodness. where would i be without you. .
  • jenny- “i have thought” my roomie. my food friend. you’re an amazing listener and a supportive friend. you make my day. i’m so glad i get to sleep with you :p
  • whitney- “old na-vy, old na-vy” my reading buddy. why did you go?!?!? i can’t wait to start our zac efron stalking lifestyle
  • elizabeth- “now strut” elizabeth you are such a beautiful person. if you live in a state with no moose.
  • grace- “don’t suck” hehe volleyball is my favorite. i have such a fun time with you. yoga?
  • kendra, what time is it? you’re going to make me learn how to read a clock, huh?
  • lindsay- my favorite person to threaten with a hole punch. i’m so glad you came back from houghton. i missed you too much for you to be there. no matter where life leads you you listen to God and I admire that so much about you
  • charlsie- “sheddera ann{e}. oh my goodness! i love you so much. you make me laugh. alot. i miss seeing your beautiful smile everyday.
  • jessica! “okay boys and girls” glad i still have someone to reminse about academics and high school with.
  • ashley, traci, and holly- i’m glad i’m getting to know you! you guys are fabolous.
  • jerica- my summer buddy. that stupid oven didn’t work. you crack me up!
  • tara- can i just tell you that i love you alot?
  • melodie and abby- i would have been lost without you my freshmen year. thanks so much for being my friends.  you have such a special place in my heart.

work is going well. i thought i would miss the salvation army a ton, and i do miss certain people and kids. but not going to work every afternoon and having time to myself is great. plus i’m taking 18 credit hours and i don’t think i would even have time to work both jobs.

jordan and i have been dating for three years and eight months as of yesterday. i’ve put up with that boy for a long time!

 adios amigos. it’s time for lunch.

Whitney and I have been waiting all summer for this movie to premiere. So Friday night @ 7:00 p.m.–this is what I’ll be doing.

Since I’m not working for TSA after day camp, my school year will be quiet different from my first two years. No working every single day. I’m actually going to have time to chill out, study, and hang out with people. It’s going to be nice. I need a break.

It’s Matt’s birthday and not mine. Which makes it my “unbirthday” so…

Half price at hastings. Berry is one of my favorite authors. His style is similar to Dan Brown’s.

Finished. The last of the Harry Potter books. I’m going to talk about this book more later. But I don’t really want to spoil it for others. My grandmother has always bought the HP books for me. She reads them and then gives them to me. I spent about 10 hours getting through it.

I will no longer be working at the Salvation Army when school starts.
I’m taking more classes then I want to.
I’m going to London and Paris next summer.
I’m missing my friends. Alot.
